Hi. I'm Ron 👋

A full-stack developer who adopted an assertive personal branding approach to see how it would change my life for the better, and man does it work!

I’ve learned that strong personal branding as a developer can change your life in more ways than you might think. Sounds dramatic but trust me- this approach is worth every second of effort put into building up yourself and your brand name so you’ll be ready first whenever someone comes looking.

Every day, we wake up and get ready for work- but what are we getting ourselves into? We enter a building with hundreds of other people who know just as much about programming languages or writing code as you do. What is it that separates them from yourself?

The tech industry has become so competitive that developers need to find ways to stand out from the crowd. I get it- there are so many developers, and sometimes you just don’t know where to begin or what routes lead to success.

Developers are often misjudged because they don’t have the same skills as marketers, salespeople, and business people. They also get frustrated because their value is not always recognized by companies.

I want to help developers build a strong personal brand that will make them more marketable and respected in tech companies. That’s why I created Dev Branding – an online community dedicated to helping developers build their personal brands so they can thrive in the tech industry.

The goal of this blog is to teach you how to become an expert on your niche, develop credibility with your peers, learn how to communicate your expertise effectively, and ultimately position yourself as an indispensable asset for any company looking for a developer who can contribute meaningfully from day one!

You deserve an amazing career in tech, more than just a job title or company name in your LinkedIn profile. Your professional identity should reflect who you are as an individual – not just what company you work for or what languages you know.
